All the currents types of backpack and vests.
Backpacks are an item added by The Crafting Dead which provide more inventory space for the player allowing him or her to carry more items.
Usage
Backpacks are used by equipping them onto your back by opening the Crafting Dead inventory. The original key to open the inventory is G but you can change that in the control options. After the inventory is opened, equip the backpack into the middle slot and you will be granted more space.

Other advantages
You can use backpacks to carry one gun on you back by equipping the gun to the slot next to the backpack. This allows the player to carry more guns when scavenging.
